Commentary on Job 22:27 (Summary)

Job 22:27 (ESV)

27 You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.

God has not been answering Job’s prayers lately. But, says Eliphaz, this will change once Job has repented. If Job asks for something by making a vow, he will certainly have to fulfill his vow, since God will certainly give what he has asked for.
