Job 29:1 (ESV)

1 And Job again took up his discourse, and said:

In Job 28:1–28, Job has confessed God’s infinite wisdom. This almost brought him back to the place where he had started: praising the Lord without asking questions (Job 1:21). But in Job 29:1 – 31:40, Job wrestles anew with the painful question of God’s dealings with him. For the last time, Job asks God to give him a fair hearing.
