Commentary on Job 22:18 (Summary)

Job 22:18 (ESV)

18 Yet he filled their houses with good things but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

Job has no right to say that he stands aloof from the counsel of wicked (Job 21:16), because Job is himself wicked. It is Eliphaz who can rightfully say, The counsel of the wicked is far from me.
