Elihu is right to say that Job has gone too far in his complaints and that he has spoken arrogantly. However, it is rather harsh to accuse Job of wicked rebellion.
After all, Job has all the while been turning to God in his search for justice.
Although Elihu has spoken truth about God, he too was not able to answer the question that underlies all Job’s complaints: why has God brought such suffering over me, an innocent man?
37 For he adds rebellion to his sin; he claps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God.”
