20 Shall it be told him that I would speak? Did a man ever wish that he would be swallowed up?

To Elihu, Job’s request for a hearing with God is utterly ridiculous. Should God even be told of this request? And if God does take notice of Job’s request, what does Job expect will be the result? Job is asking to be swallowed up!
