Commentary on Job 36:26 (Summary)

Job 36:26 (ESV)

26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not; the number of his years is unsearchable.

If God’s works are too great for us to understand (Job 36:23–25), then how can we expect to understand God himself? To illustrate his point, Elihu refers to God’s eternity. This is one of God’s attributes which is unsearchable.
