Deuteronomy 3:9 (ESV)

9 (the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, while the Amorites call it Senir),

The Sidonians in the northwest and the Amorites of Canaan used different names for Mount Hermon, which was a large mountainous area. Such names (Sirion and Senir) are found elsewhere in Scripture (Psalm 29:6).
