2 “Keep listening to my words, and let this be your comfort.

After two cycles of speeches, Job is convinced that his friends cannot comfort him with their words. However, they might offer him consolation by listening to him, as he had asked before (Job 13:6). (Let us also remember the consolation that we can bring to a sufferer simply by listening.)
