Commentary on Job 21:3 (Summary)

Job 21:3 (ESV)

3 Bear with me, and I will speak, and after I have spoken, mock on.

Job’s friends find his words offensive and irritating (see Job 15:2–3; Job 18:2; Job 20:3). Therefore, Job does not expect them to listen to him for long. If they can only consider his words for a few moments, before continuing with their mockery.
