Commentary on Job 6:26 (Summary)

Job 6:26 (ESV)

26 Do you think that you can reprove words, when the speech of a despairing man is wind?

Instead of proving that there is sin in Job’s life, Eliphaz had blamed Job for his words (see Job 3:1–26). Job has admitted that his words have been rash (Job 6:3), but now he reminds his friends that he has spoken out of despair.
