Commentary on Job 19:2 (Summary)

Job 19:2 (ESV)

2 “How long will you torment me and break me in pieces with words?

Bildad had asked how long Job and the others will continue to speak (Job 18:2). Job now asks the same question. Whereas Bildad’s question arose from a feeling of vexation, Job’s question comes from a grief-stricken heart.
