Commentary on Job 8:6 (Summary)

Job 8:6 (ESV)

6 if you are pure and upright, surely then he will rouse himself for you and restore your rightful habitation.

Bildad feels that Job must ask God’s forgiveness at least for the wrong words that he (Job) had spoken. Then, if Job’s life is truly upright (but Bildad clearly doubts that!), he can expect God to restore him.
