Commentary on Job 15:21 (Summary)

Job 15:21 (ESV)

21 Dreadful sounds are in his ears; in prosperity the destroyer will come upon him.

The wicked man fears even when there is no real danger. And sooner or later, he is attacked by marauders. This is a cruel allusion to Job’s own misfortune (Job 1:15).
