What kind of a send-off is Gideon given?

Judges 8:32 (ESV)

32 And Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age and was buried in the tomb of Joash his father, at Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

Gideon is given a royal send off. His death and burial are recorded like a king’s would have been. In fact, it sounds very similar to those royal death and burial formulas that you find in 1 and 2 Kings; it is nearly word for word.
