Judges 6:6 (ESV)

6 And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the LORD.

Yes, this is what covenant breakers like Israel could expect. Deuteronomy 28:29 says, “You shall be only oppressed and robbed continually, and there shall be no one to help you.”
