1. Psalm 34:8 (ESV)

When do you taste the love of the Lord?

Psalm 34:8 (ESV)

8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

You taste it every time you remember how gracious God is that he saved you; for example, when you partake of the Lord’s Supper. But when you see how this text has been quoted in the New Testament, you see that it is especially about the beginning of faith when you tasted the goodness of the Lord for the first time.
