Ezra 2 and the Trinity

Ezra 2:1–70 (ESV)

1 Now these were the people of the province who came up out of the captivity of those exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried captive to Babylonia. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town.

What does Ezra 2 reveal about who God the Father is?

God the Father is shown to be the Lord who works in history to rescue a particular people of his choosing. In doing so, he remains faithful to the promises he has made to Abraham and through Jeremiah, to bring his people into the land of Canaan so that they can worship him and enjoy fellowship with him.
