What is the Sheep Gate?

Nehemiah 3:32 (ESV)

32 And between the upper chamber of the corner and the Sheep Gate the goldsmiths and the merchants repaired.

With this reference to the Sheep Gate Nehemiah has returned to the point where his account of repairing the wall had begun (Nehemiah 3:1).
