Who was Jadon the Meronothite?

Nehemiah 3:7 (ESV)

7 And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, the seat of the governor of the province Beyond the River.

We know nothing about the man. The location of his town is unknown. That the town is mentioned only one other time in the Old Testament (1 Chronicles 27:30) suggests it was small and insignificant.
