1 “Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you observe the calving of the does?

As a farmer, Job knows how (and when) cattle and sheep give birth to their young. But he knows almost nothing about animals that are beyond human reach. The mountain goats and the doe live high in the mountains, where only God sees them.
