Commentary on Job 36:30 (Summary)

Job 36:30 (ESV)

30 Behold, he scatters his lightning about him and covers the roots of the sea.

Elihu’s references to thunder (Job 36:28) and lighting may be inspired by a storm that he sees gathering above his and his listeners’ heads. God will soon start speaking out of the storm (Job 38:1).
