God the Son came to establish peace between the Father and his chosen people. By assuming our nature, he lived the perfect life of full obedience to God’s law in our place.
Jesus Christ also died the death that we deserve for our sins. By doing this, he enables the Father to forgive our sins and enables us to enjoy the Father’s favour.
