God the Son took on flesh to dwell among us. His blood was shed to cover our sin so that we can be forgiven by God. And his life of perfect obedience is also credited to us through faith so that we can look forward to eternal life in God’s presence. Christ Jesus accomplished salvation for the people whom God has chosen before the foundation of the world.
