Ezra 2 and the Trinity

Ezra 2:1–70 (ESV)

1 Now these were the people of the province who came up out of the captivity of those exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried captive to Babylonia. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town.

What does Ezra 2 reveal about what God the Son did in my place and on my behalf?

The Son laid down his life on my behalf so that I can be part of God’s people and so that I can I have fellowship with God (Hebrews 10:19–25). God the Son also wrote my name in his book of life even though I am impure and do not deserve a place in the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21:27).
