Commentary on Job 34:23 (Summary)

Job 34:23 (ESV)

23 For God has no need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.

Job had wished that God would set times for judgment (Job 24:1). However, says Elihu, God is not in need of such times. God knows what is going on at every moment. It is not as if he needs court sittings, in order to consider a man further.
