Commentary on Job 32:1 (Summary)

Job 32:1 (ESV)

1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

After Job’s strong defence of his own uprightness (Job 31:1–40), his three friends have nothing more to say. Job’s words have dried up (see Job 31:40), and so have theirs.
