Commentary on Job 31:33 (Summary)

Job 31:33 (ESV)

33 if I have concealed my transgressions as others do by hiding my iniquity in my heart,

Since Job’s friends could not give specific proof of sin in his life, they assumed that he has sinned in secret. Again, Job denies this with an oath. He has not hidden his sin as others do (or, as Adam did). Recall how Adam went into hiding and then blamed Eve for his sin.
