What is the significance of the little word “for”?
Revelation 22:10 (ESV)
10And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
This connective provides the reason John must publish the words of the prophecy of this book as soon as possible: the time is near. That reason provides urgency to the command.
