1. Revelation 22:10 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

Who is the speaker in this verse?

Revelation 22:10 (ESV)

10 And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

This would still be the same angel who has done the speaking since Revelation 21:9. Upon authority of his sender he continues the theme of the previous verses, that is, the revelation of what must soon take place is so absolutely trustworthy that a specific response is imperative.
