1. Revelation 22:7 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

What does the word “soon” refer to?

Revelation 22:7 (ESV)

7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

This is the same word that had appeared in the previous verse. Christ is moving things along to his ultimate appearing as quickly as he can, within the parameters of what God has ordained must happen in the new dispensation.
