What is the essence that Jesus seeks to communicate?

Matthew 6:31 (ESV)

31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Jesus wants his disciples to go about the Father’s business without constantly worrying about their basic needs. The life of kingdom citizens must not be dominated by sinful and unnecessary worries.1
