Kindness is often used in reference to God’s offering salvation through Jesus Christ (Romans 2:4; Romans 11:22; Ephesians 2:7; Titus 3:4).1 We imitate God and Christ when we are generous to others, extending help to those who cannot love in return. Treating people in the same what that God has treated us (Ephesians 4:32).2
