Christ as the true temple

Ezra 3:1–13 (ESV)

1 When the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in the towns, the people gathered as one man to Jerusalem.

The clearest demonstration of God’s love for us (his people) is seen in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1–11; 1 John 3:16). In Jesus Christ, the goodness of God has been revealed in all its riches (Romans 2:4; 2 Corinthians 10:1; Ephesians 2:7; Colossians 3:12; Titus 3:4).

In the person of Jesus Christ God himself came to make his dwelling among us (?; ?). Through his Holy Spirit, God lives in believers (?). We no longer need to go to a physical temple to meet with God, we meet with God in his Word through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the true temple of God (?) through whom we have access to the Father (?).
