In contrast with the false teachers who are accursed (Galatians 1:6), the believers in Galatia are foolish, not in terms of intellect but morality.1 They have failed to allow God’s revelation to dictate their thoughts and actions (Psalm 14:1–7). They have not considered the implications of the gospel for their lives.2
1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
