Those who are outside of Christ do not have peace with God; they do not have peace in their heart with God; and neither do they have a peaceful relationship with God. But when we experience the mercy of God in Christ and the forgiveness of our sins in Christ, so that we have the right standing with God in Christ, through faith in Christ, then we have peace with God.1
