The “household gods” that Micah made were small objects also used for seeking the will of the Lord (Genesis 31:19; Ezekiel 21:21; Zechariah 10:2). Their exact form is unknown. But they can be viewed as something of a challenge to the legitimate high priest’s work with the Urim and the Thummin.
