This is the angel of Revelation 21:9, one of the seven who had emptied a bowl full of God’s wrath (see on Revelation 21:9). This angel is John’s tour guide as he observes “the Bride, the wife of the Lamb,” “the holy city Jerusalem”—the church in her completeness.
