Job 19:12 (ESV)

12 His troops come on together; they have cast up their siege ramp against me and encamp around my tent.

It seems to Job that God has declared war against him. The disasters that have struck Job are God’s troops. All these disasters have surrounded Job simultaneously. They continue to threaten his life.
