Colossians 1:4 (ESV)

4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,

The relationship between faith and love is made visible. We cannot think of the one without the other. Although both faith and love are personal, they are hardly private and certainly never secret. They are visible and vocal in their expression.1
