Commentary on Psalm 88:17 (Summary)

Psalm 88:17 (ESV)

17 They surround me like a flood all day long; they close in on me together.

Like a tsunami God’s terrors come over the author. Day by day he continuously feels overwhelmed by God’s wrath. God’s anger closes in on him from all sides. He almost drowns in it.
