Commentary on Job 13:21 (Summary)

Job 13:21 (ESV)

21 withdraw your hand far from me, and let not dread of you terrify me.

First, Job asks God to withdraw his hand (not to afflict Job with new chastisements). Second, he asks God to subdue the display of his majesty, so that it will not terrify Job (or even kill him, Job 13:15).
