What if the infection has not spread during the seven-day quarantine period?

Leviticus 13:54 (ESV)

54 then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which is the disease, and he shall shut it up for another seven days.

After a week of quarantine, the priest will inspect the garment a second time. If the fungal spot has not spread, then the priest will order the clothing to be washed and isolated for another week.
