2 “How long will you say these things, and the words of your mouth be a great wind?

For Bildad, Job’s speeches (in Job 3:1–26 and Job 6:1 – 7:21) had gone on far too long. Without any friendly or sympathetic word, he immediately describes Job’s words as blustering wind—wild, destructive, and devoid of sense.
