Why did the cypresses and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice?

Isaiah 14:8 (ESV)

8 The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.’

Even the trees rejoiced because they would no longer be chopped down for the purpose of military operations or the building of palaces. Nebuchadnezzar built a road for obtaining cedar trees; Isaiah may have had this in mind when he wrote this.
