How was the burnt offering presented?

Leviticus 9:12–14 (ESV)

12 Then he killed the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons handed him the blood, and he threw it against the sides of the altar.

Once the sin offering had been made, Aaron then presented the burnt offering. After the blood of the sacrificial animals was sprinkled on the sides of the altar, the animal was burned on the altar.
