What was to be done with the rest of the animal?

Leviticus 4:11 (ESV)

11 But the skin of the bull and all its flesh, with its head, its legs, its entrails, and its dung

In the sin offering, the best parts of the animal were burned on the altar, the remainder of the animal was disposed of outside the camp. The totality of the sacrifice would have symbolized the complete disposal of sin.
