Commentary on Job 2:7 (Summary)

Job 2:7 (ESV)

7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

It is not known what disease Satan struck Job with. The sores on Job’s body must have caused him terrible suffering; his friends would hardly recognize him (Job 2:12).
