What is the significance of the sequence of the prohibitions against eating fat and against eating blood?

Leviticus 7:26 (ESV)

26 Moreover, you shall eat no blood whatever, whether of fowl or of animal, in any of your dwelling places.

Following the prohibition against eating fat comes the prohibition against eating blood. The sequence of fat and then blood may reflect the order from the outer to the inner.
