What does Joshua 2 reveal about God the Father?
God is faithful to his promises. He will do what he has promised. He promised to bring great fear upon the people of Canaan and he has done so. No one can stop him from accomplishing his plans.
God is powerful to bring his people into the land of promise. The fact that the people of Canaan are terrified, assures Israel that they will inherit the land. Their victory is certain because God is unstoppable.
1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent two men secretly from Shittim as spies, saying, “Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” And they went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab and lodged there.
