Sharing the treasure

Ezra 7:10 (ESV)

10 For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.

Seeing the love of God in his Word, in the whole panorama of his revelation, transforms a man. He does not want to keep that treasury to himself. He wants to share it and it comes across with conviction. Not just persuasive argumentation, but loving invitation.1
